A History of Success

The Netherlands has been a regular participant in the Eurovision Song Contest since its inception in 1956. The country has won the contest five times, in 1957, 1959, 1969, 1975, and 2019. The Netherlands has also finished in the top 10 on 26 other occasions.

Recent Performances

In recent years, the Netherlands has had mixed results at Eurovision. The country finished in 11th place in 2021 and 23rd place in 2022. However, the Netherlands is hoping to improve its performance in 2023 with the song "Burning Daylight" by Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper.
